Friends of Lake Keowee Society (FOLKS)
Whether you live on or near Lake Keowee, you need to be concerned with the quality of the lake and its impact on our way of life.  The Friends of Lake Keowee Society (FOLKS) is a 501c(3) organization founded in 1993 for the purpose of preserving, protecting and enhancing Lake Keowee through Advocacy Conservation and Education

FOLKS needs your support and you need FOLKS; they are always looking for volunteers.  If you have any questions regarding FOLKS please contact Dave Metzer, Keowee Falls South Resident, and FOLKS Board Member (Contact information is below).

The Springs community supports folks through our Springs Island Keepers initiative, coordinated by Carol Storz.
